Hey brother Brian!
I can't wipe the smile off my face. I really had a great time diving with
you. I catch myself daydreaming about it (especially in all the teacher's
meetings I had to endure today). Watching and learning from you under the
ocean changed my perspective not just about diving but about living.
Thanks for sharing your passion for sea with me and for being such a great
teacher. Your love for the ocean was so contagious that there is no
turning back for me. My family and I really appreciated all your
hospitality. Please say hi to the "tres bonitas" for me.

Capt. Brian:
Awesome!!!!!! I wonder how you do it! I just want to come live on an
island. I know it is hard work too. I love your place . It truly is
paradise.

Hi Brian,
Sending you the promised message to tell you that we are all back safely
and extremely satisfied with our vacation at The end of the World and
Guanaja. We al hope to be able to come back in the future and as you know,
Lennart and I will most certainly continue our diving "career"!
It would be really good to keep the contact and maybe we can complete our
course at your place.
When we have the photos we might be able to send over some, let's see.
Meanwhile, take care and give our best greetings to everybody- including
Skippy and the lazy cat(!) and hope you are enjoying the new CDs. "El
Borrachon" with Company will be a secure hit.
If you ever pass by Guatemala or Sweden you know that you have new
buddies.
Thanks again -

Capt. Brian:
I have been to a lot of exciting, exotic places in my life, but I have
never felt so sad to leave a place as I did when I left Guanaja. I miss
everything about being there. I miss the beautiful girls, their quiet
smiles and laughter and the wonderful meals and coffee they so lovingly
prepared. I. I miss David and Joan and all the other colorful and
intriguing people that walked in your door while I was there . . . with
characters like that I bet you are never lonely! Most of all I miss diving
with you and all the wonderful and incredible things that I discovered in
that fascinating underwater world. I miss your energy, your patient
guidance and your smiles. My heart is much fuller for all that I
experienced while on Guanaja but it feels very lonesome now too. Thank you
for all you and your staff did to make my time there so incredible . . . I
will carry the memories with me daily as I face this last challenging
stretch of my doctoral program.
I hope the rest of your season is filled with interesting visitors and lots
of adventures. Take good care of yourself and everyone and I will stay in
touch.
Fondly.....................Chris Eisenberg

Hey Capt. Brian,
Thanks for the note. I got home fine after a good overnight in
San Pedro Sula. It was indeed a treat to go into the town of Guanaja with
you. That is really a cool place. You don't see too many towns like that
around. But alas, it's back to the grind. Most of all, I'd like to thank
you and your great staff for a perfect getaway. I enjoyed meeting you and
seeing your resort and your
corner of the world. If you get near San Francisco, let us know. We always
have room.. So hasta la vista.
I'll be thinking of you all as I stare at the Snorkel Beach screen saver on
my computer.

Capt. Brian;
The trip to Honduras was the best travel experience
of my life--and well beyond any expectations, or frankly the number of
adjectives in my vocabulary.
The paddling was spectacular (and not just cause the water was warm!).
Doug was great--great instruction, tour guiding, local color
commentary, and mind reading. (It would seem as if Susan and I would
only have a thought, and he would be there asking if we wanted to
whatever we had just been dreaming of, as in the case, for example, of
the full moon paddle-- a 'must,' by the way, for anyone who goes there.)
While I went there strictly focussed on paddling, I must say the
snorkeling alone was worth the trip. Such pristine conditions and
breathtaking coral reefs. Late afternoon reading in the hammocks was
also a favorite. When combined with the paddling, it was a dream come
true. The End of the World Resort was fabulous. Climbing those steps to
the
cabanas at night was literally a 'stairway to heaven.' And the folks
who work there made me feel more like we were personal guests/friends
than someone staying at a hotel. Brian you were so much
(a guru in the drink mixing department) and your staff was kind and
astute. (For example, Susan asked for tea one morning and the next
morning there was hot tea next to her breakfast plate...they also
noticed that we liked a cup of coffee on the dock before breakfast and
would invite us into the kitchen to get one.)
In short, I have become the ultimate fan club for the Honduras trip. I
just wish I had gone there sooner and I know I will be there again.

Hi Brian,
Thanks so much for providing us with such a memorable vacation. I really
loved my first dive experience. We've been having a good time going over
the images we took and thanks again for copying Ernie's B & W images. He's
a pretty good shooter, huh? He hopes you'll be able to use the
We look forward to returning in the future.
Best,
Sally and Ernie Brooks
Hi Capt. Brian,
we had a good time at HOW and Natalia and I couldn't have asked for a
better diving instructor. We just wish we could dive some more. We'll have
to wait for next vacation. Best to all. We will be back to dive with you
soon!

Hey Capt. Brian :
Thanks again for the diving and the cool party. I had a great time. It
was nice to meet the locals. I will be back for some more great diving
with you.
What a life you live! When's the book coming out?
Talk to you later,
Ty Lister
Howdy Brian,
Can't tell you how hard is to wake up there yesterday and wake up elsewhere
today. When you dropped us off, I was so freaked out about leaving paradise
that I didn't take the time to tell you how much we truly enjoyed being
with you. Walter really had a tough time saying good-bye too. Of course we
enjoyed your whole staff, it was just easier to communicate with you.
Please pass the word to all.
As I wake this morning ( no Cecilia to bring my coffee), I've had a moment
to really appreciate what a great job you do there. Your attention to
detail and anticipation of your guests needs does not go unnoticed. Your
passion for the water and the area in general are infectious. Thanks for
sharing it all.
It was a good exercise in separation for me. I think I'll even set my cell
phone aside for awhile
Thanks again Brian. We plan to try to send people your way.....
Don't forget....Rehab is for Quitters!
